What is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist?

Exercise Physiologists are allied health professionals that have completed a master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation. Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP’s) are registered with the governing body Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA). This means that they fulfil the requirements created to ensure practitioners are engaging in ongoing learning post graduating so that they can provide you with relevant and up to date information.

Here at Wellness Station, our AEPs utilise evidence-based research, as well as the knowledge and skillset obtained from their degrees to help people with acute, chronic and complex health conditions, injuries and disabilities. Our main tools include movement, exercise prescription and behaviour change to help you achieve your goals. We will always consider your history, current presentation, wants and needs to ensure the approach is tailored to you.

We are qualified to help with (but not limited to):

-Cardiovascular and cardiopulmonary conditions (e.g., hypertension, heart attack, heart failure,

asthma, COPD)
